On Thursday 21st June, Partners Mike Hayward and Maria Gallucci will be attending the Talent in Logistics Conference, and speaking as part of the panel in a discussion on “What could Brexit mean for transport regulations?”
The event, which is being held at the International Centre in Telford, will play host to over 200 transport and logistics professionals, and is a unique annual conference dedicated to the training, development and retention of the 2m+ people working within the transport and logistics industry.
Mike, who heads the firm’s Transport and Regulatory team, and Maria, an expert in Employment Law from our Company Commercial team, will be contributing to the Brexit-based discussion, which will focus on the expected impact of Brexit for the industry, the possibility of changes to Driver CPC and/or qualification for UK transport management, and whether there may be either an increase or reduction in ‘red tape’ for the industry once the UK leaves the EU.
They will be joined in the discussion by ex-Foreign Office Diplomat, Charles Crawford, and former Labour MP, Tom Harris.
