Collaborative Family Law
Collaborative family law is an approach to resolving issues arising from a separation by the following:
- Agreeing to resolve issues without the intervention of the Courts
- Feeling in control of the important decisions about your future
Each of you will appoint your own solicitor to represent and advise you, but they must be collaboratively trained. Then, instead of impersonal negotiations via solicitor’s correspondence, all discussions (and decisions) take place at round-table meetings.
You will have the benefit of your own legal adviser by your side throughout the entire process, but you and your ex-partner get to control what is discussed and how quickly things move forward.
The ultimate aim of collaborative law is to resolve family disputes without going to Court. If you would prefer to be more in control of your separation, please contact Clare Pilsworth on 01223 411421, or email firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
