Neil has developed a broad range of experience in general corporate and commercial work including finance. He establishes long term relationships with clients and often becomes “the legal department” for his SME clients providing general commercial advice and assistance as well as dispute resolution.

He has particular experience in mergers and acquisitions both for those buying and selling and in particular advising in relation to Management Buy Outs and Management Buy ins and related corporate finance.

Throughout his career Neil has advised clients in relation to their commercial property needs and has a niche practice in surface water drainage.

In connection with the firm’s regulatory team he has developed particular expertise in the road transport and haulage sector.

Background

Neil studied at University College London before completing Law School Finals at the College of Law in Chester. He then trained with founder firm Batcheldors and was made a partner in 1998. In 2001 he opened the firm’s office in Milton Keynes. He is a member of the firm’s Management Committee and chairs the firm’s Marketing Committee.
