We have one of the strongest criminal departments in the Region. Our criminal law partners have experience dealing with high profile criminal cases including murder, manslaughter, fraud (white collar, carousel, conveyancing etc.), terrorism, drugs, firearms, explosives and sexual offences. We recently became one of the first law firms in the UK to preside on a case from initial police station representation, through to Magistrates and onto representation in the Crown Court and subsequent appeal.

Recent cases involve the much documented BBC “Rough Justice” programme and the successful appeal and acquittal, after re-trial, of a person wrongly convicted of murder in 2002. Our team were also involved in a major prosecution of persons involved in a much publicised national conspiracy to defraud members of the public and enforcement agencies in relation to the licensing of those operating heavy goods vehicles.
