Since the result of last week’s EU referendum, the country is now waiting to hear what steps the Government will take to begin the country’s exit from the EU (which will first depend upon Article 50 of the Lisbon Treaty being invoked), and what this will mean for our economy in the long term.
However, in the short term, there have been no immediate legislative changes and our clients can rest assured that we will continue to represent them to the best of our ability, whilst keeping them informed of progress at every step of their matter.
You will have heard that there may be implications for employment regulations and family law, interest rates affecting house prices, and potential issues for business transactions across Europe. If any of this comes to fruition, we will advise our clients accordingly and make sure you have all of the information to make the best decisions going forward.
