Woodfines is pleased to announce that three of its Senior Associate Solicitors have been promoted to the position of Partner, as of 1st April 2018.
Maria Gallucci, Claire Dunn and Nick Sayer have joined the 23-strong Partnership at Woodfines and will each continue to provide their clients with high-quality legal advice in their specialist areas of law.
Maria Gallucci is a highly experienced Employment Law solicitor and is based at the firm’s Milton Keynes office. She has been a qualified solicitor since 2001 and during this time has developed a wealth of experience advising in all areas of employment law, both for employers and employees. Maria is the firm’s leading GDPR expert, and has been providing training to businesses on the new Regulations throughout the UK.
Nick Sayer is also an employment lawyer, and has been cementing a reputation as a “heavyweight” in employment law in Cambridge since 1987, advising clients on Employment Tribunal claims of all kinds (which are, once more, on the increase), senior executive terminations, redundancy and restructuring programmes, and the employment aspects of business transfers.
Both Nick and Maria are members of the firm’s Business Protection team, providing advice to businesses on data theft, unlawful competition, and misuse and infringement of IP. In recent years, Nick has written and spoken widely on Business Protection matters.
Claire Dunn is an experienced Residential Property solicitor, specialising in house sales and purchases, including shared ownership properties and transfers of equity. Based in the firm’s Milton Keynes office, she is highly thought of amongst her clients and works tirelessly to achieve their objectives in buying or selling their homes.
Woodfines’ Managing Partner, Adrian Frost, said: “We are delighted to have these three extremely talented solicitors join the Partnership at the firm, and know that they will continue to show dedication and commitment in meeting the needs of their respective clients.”
Additionally, Michelle O’Garro from the firm’s Crime & Regulatory team has been promoted to the position of Senior Associate Solicitor. Michelle has vast experience in representing individuals and businesses charged with a variety of offences and prosecutions brought by the Crown Prosecution Service, Health and Safety Executive, Environment Agency and Local Authorities, and also is a key figure for clients in the firm’s Road Transport team.
Mike Hayward, Head of Woodfines’ Crime & Regulatory team, said: “Michelle is an asset to the team, and I look forward to seeing her continue to develop and provide a second-to-none service for our clients in regulatory and road transport services.”
