Woodfines Solicitors hosted a morning to remember as part of Cambridge's Tour De France celebrations on Monday 7th July.
Over 250 guests from businesses across Cambridge joined Woodfines, who are based on Clarendon Road, at the University Arms Hotel to view the start of Stage 3 of Le Tour. Guest were able to watch events unfold on Parker's Piece, whilst also enjoying breakfast, lunch and entertainment hosted by the legal firm.
The day raised funds for the Arthur Rank Hospice Charity with various activities held. These included the chance to have one of Woodfines' partners or solicitors pedal a smoothie bike to make drinks for guests, and a raffle to win a one-to-one cycle ride with former Boels Dolmans Cycling Team rider and member of the GB cycling team, Emma Trott. Emma also shared her experiences of professional racing with the assembled audience. Both the smoothie bike and Emma's time were kindly donated by Kinetic Cycles, who also shared their cycling knowledge with guests on the day.
Guests were also able to view the start of Stage 3 via an exclusive viewpoint at the hotel, before heading back into the venue through a balloon 'Arc De Triomphe' to watch the remainder of the stage on large screens.
