Geographically it is ideally placed to access the world renowned education and research centres of Cambridge and Oxford as well as being ideally positioned between London and the industrial and commercial hub of Birmingham.

We are able to offer a full package of legal services across all the core commercial law disciplines. In addition, we are able to support employees of client organisations with their domestic legal needs, whether that need be for a simple real estate transaction or for more complex family or personal legal matters. We have grown steadily in recent years and are now in the top 10% of UK firms in terms of revenue. We are widely respected by various professional bodies and legal directories. Culturally, we place a strong emphasis in being approachable, in terms of accessibility to senior decision makers, through clear advice and support, as well as being welcoming to clients, employees and other stakeholders and contacts.

We have an international outlook and considerable experience of working with organisations of various sizes that either trade with the UK or have moved into the UK to launch an operating base. We understand that in some instances our clients require a full range of commercial law support yet need to simplify their communications by channelling them through one senior lawyer. Woodfines can allocate a Client Partner to act as a single point of contact for the various specialists within the firm. Meeting facilities in London are available for our international clients.

A number of our individuals have international language capability. From a legal perspective all work performed is in accordance with English Law however, we realise that for communication purposes clients do appreciate some capability in their native language. The listing of languages provided below shows that we have members of staff with some linguistic ability in that particular language. It should not be assumed that the firm is widely able to communicate in this language. Inevitably some languages have more speakers than others, but where possible we will make available a member of staff to join the support team for a client.
