After qualifying, Nigel worked for several years in central Cambridge as a private client solicitor before joining Woodfines. He specialises in complex wills and trusts, and inheritance tax planning.
He also has a keen interest in issues surrounding mental capacity, especially in the elderly. Nigel regularly gives talks to charities, such as the Alzheimer's Society and Mencap, and also to professional groups. He is a member of the Law Society and a full member of Solicitors for the Elderly.
In 2015, Nigel was appointed by the Office of the Public Guardian as one of only 68 Panel Deputies in England and Wales.
Nigel lives near Cambridge and enjoys cycling. He is slowly getting to grips with the mysteries of the French language, and hopes one day to have visited all the cathedrals in the country.
All the staff are most friendly and very helpful, nothing being too much trouble.
I have used Woodfines for more than one need and they all know their areas of expertise and do such a fantastic and thorough job at an efficient pace. Thank you for your assistance.
Excellent service from friendly and helpful staff. Total confidence in your professionalism. Thank you!
Mr Ashton was excellent in talking me through the process of obtaining a Grant of Probate as I had no experience of this, so it was very helpful.
