Tim joined Woodfines in early 2018 following partnerships held at Greenwoods in Peterborough and Cambridge, and Howes Percival in Northampton.
He is a highly experienced solicitor, with 30+ years expertise as a Private Client specialist. Tim is a graduate of Christ's College in Cambridge and a long-time member of STEP (the Society of Trusts and Estate Practitioners).
Tim has also held a number of executorships and trusteeships for various clients, and is highly regarded in both the Legal 500 and Chambers UK directories.
Tim is married with a son – so, as with many parents, often finds himself on the touch- or sidelines, or providing a bespoke taxi service.
His interests include birds and wildlife, walking and gardening – anything that gets him outside and away from his desk after a week in the office.
He is also still keen on rock music and occasionally manages to make it to the odd gig. He hopes that this may change (for the better) once his son passes the age of admission… and the height to see the stage!
Like his fellow Partner, Stephen Patch, Tim is a lapsed travel lover and has visited Europe, the Middle East, Africa and southern USA in pursuit of his interest in native birds and wildlife.
“Tim Addinell deals with a range of private client matters, including business succession, estate administration and Inheritance Tax planning. “I cannot praise him too highly,” enthuses a source, explaining: “He has a very warm and friendly personal approach which is backed by his professional ability.”
Another interviewee states: “He knows his onions and is very experienced. He has a calm and reassuring presence.”
