Milton Keynes Legal Walk

Join us for the first ever Milton Keynes Legal Walk!

Family Law Group and Woodfines Solicitors are excited to launch the first ever Milton Keynes Legal Walk. The event will take place on Thursday 12th June starting at the Milton Keynes County Court, and ending up at The Slug and Lettuce and businesses across Milton Keynes are invited to take part.

Sam Redsull, organiser of the walk and Head of Marketing at Family Law Group comments “I was aware of some of our other offices taking part in various Legal Walks up and down the country and was keen to get our Milton Keynes office involved, and was genuinely quite surprised to discover that Milton Keynes had never hosted a walk, so decided to look into what was involved in organising one myself.”

Looking to partner with another law firm, and having worked together previously, Sam approached Kerry Ransby, Events Manager at Woodfines Solicitors whose office is located nearby.  Kerry commented “I was so pleased when Sam got in touch as having put teams together for both the Bedford and Cambridge walks in previous years, it was a great opportunity to get our Milton Keynes team involved, and being able to work with Sam again made it seem like the perfect collaboration!”

Why should people get involved?

Legal Walks take place to raise valuable funds for the Access to Justice Foundation, a charity that raises money to ensure everybody has access to legal representation by increasing funding for free legal advice across the UK.

As well as raising money for this cause, the walk is a great opportunity to bring the business community of Milton Keynes together and everyone is encouraged to get involved and join us on this first walk (which is less than 5k) and the full route can be found on the registration page.

At the end of the walk, all participants will be rewarded with a well-earned drink, courtesy of our sponsors, 3 DJB, All Things Business, DNA Legal, PHMG and Stratos.
