More about Leah…

If you weren’t a lawyer or in your current profession, what would you be doing?

A Zookeeper, Personal trainer, or a Yoga teacher! I enjoy being active and barely sit down outside of work. Yoga forces me to take a break, and I feel at my happiest around nature and animals.

What was your first job?

I worked as a waitress at a hotel serving Sunday lunch, which is where my detest for horseradish came from!

What’s the most daring/scariest thing you have done?

I would say it was doing a charity skydive to raise money for cancer research.  The free drop before the parachute went up lasted about 15 seconds, but it was a terrifying 15 seconds.

If you weren’t a lawyer or in your current profession, what would you be doing?

I would like to say a professional cricketer, but I don’t believe I have the talent or the physique to spend hours in the cricket field at a professional level or in fact even at an amateur level so probably safer to go with a maths teacher.

What was your first job?

I worked as a teaching associate within a tuition centre called Kumon and worked with children of all ages to emphasise self-independence and confidence skills.

If you weren’t a lawyer/ in your current profession, what would you be doing?

I would either be a teacher to play a part in educating the future generation or run my own business selling freshly baked desserts!
