Nick specialises in all aspects of employment law, both contentious and non-contentious.
He is regularly involved in Settlement Agreements, Employment Tribunal claims of all kinds, senior executive terminations, redundancy and restructuring programmes and the employment aspects of business transfers.
He also has a special interest in business protection matters (i.e. misuse of trade secrets and confidential information and the enforcement of post termination restrictions). Over the years, Nick has conducted many successful High Court cases dealing with such matters. This work also involves Nick in advising on reporting personal data breaches to the Information Commissioner’s Office and working alongside computer forensics experts

What was your first job?
My first job was as an Assistant Groundsman. I wasn’t very good at it but, later in life, it sparked my interest in gardening-I now have a very beautiful garden.
If you weren’t a lawyer or in your current profession, what would you be doing?
If I wasn’t working as an Employment Lawyer I would be researching and writing about military aviation, especially during WWII. Probably shows that I’m still an Air Cadet at heart!
